About two weeks after Addison was born, Austin left to go on his 8th grade trip to Washington DC. They had a jam-packed itinerary of things to do. He was excited about going but a little sad that he was going to have to leave his little sister so soon after her birth!

- Lincoln Memorial
- National Archives
- National Cathedral
- National Museum of Natural History
- Pentagon City Mall
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial
- Washington Monument
- White House
- World War II Memorial
Obviously, from the extensive list, they stayed busy but he had a great time and has already said that he wants to go back soon!
