Easter Egg Hunt at the Mastin's

My sister decided that she wanted to start a yearly tradition of having a huge Easter egg hunt for our kids and their little playmates.  So she invited all of our closest friends and family, filled about 250 eggs with candy, and planned a cookout for the Friday before Easter.
They grilled the meat and everyone brought sides and there was LOTS of food!  The turnout was great and there were lots of little ones eager to fill their baskets with eggs!

LOOK MOMMY!

Carson got a bunch too!

After the egg hunt, the kids played and once it started to get dark, Randy built a campfire and the kids roasted marshmallows and made smores!  YUM!  My grandfather had never had one before so he had his first smores at 80+ years old!

Jason being silly!

Papaw Smith enjoying his smores!

After the campfire, most everyone left but the kids who were still there got to take a bath in Lyndi’s big tub.  They had a blast!  It was so much fun watching them giggling and splashing and just being kids!

LOVE those sweet smiles!

It was a great time and a great tradition to start that our kids will hopefully always remember!

  1. That looks like so much fun! Clearly the kiddos all enjoyed themselves immensely.
