Easter 2012

We celebrated Easter by going to our church service on Saturday night.  We were living with Craig’s parents so they went with us.  Addi loved wearing her new Easter dress and Easter shoes.  We got a few pictures before church:

                                                   

We celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and the empty tomb and Addi had a special lesson in her class about Easter and colored a beautiful Easter cross.  After the service, we tried to get some good pictures of the kids in their Easter duds but getting 3 little ones (Austin was easy) to cooperate is amusing so here’s the best we got!!

Austin was going to be singing at Brookside Baptist (Craig’s parents church) on Easter Sunday so we went there on Sunday morning.  Church didn’t start until 11 so we had plenty of time for Addi to check out what the Easter Bunny had left her!  Speaking of the Easter Bunny, there are NO pictures of Addi sitting in the Easter Bunny’s lap this year because she wouldn’t have ANYTHING to do with him!!  She definitely loved the stuff he brought her though!

Austin had to be at church early so he opened his basket later!  He did a great job singing at church and Addi even lasted through most of the service before I had to take her out!

After church, we headed to Lyndi’s house for Easter lunch with our family and then had Easter dinner later that evening with all of the Vahle’s.
