I just wanted to document some of the words that Addison uses regularly. I am amazed at how quickly she is talking! Her neurologist was asking us the other day how many words she can say and when we started listing them out, we were all amazed! She’s a very smart girl at 13 months! Here are her words:
Ball
Baby
Juice (anything in a sippy cup is juice—even though she rarely gets anything other than milk or water!)
Shoes
Papaw
Momma

Austin
Hi-dey (Hi with a little southern charm at the end)
Peep-eye

Hot Dog (one of her favorite foods…)

I wanna dink (drink)

Ashes, Ashes (singing ring around the rosy)

Apple
I’m sure I’m leaving some things off but I think this is a pretty impressive list. She obeys commands and seems to always know what we are telling her. If I say, “please bring mommy her phone,” she goes over and gets my phone and brings it to me. If I ask her if she wants to go outside to swing, she goes over to the back door and waits on me to come too. If I tell her we need to go upstairs, she walks over to the gate at the steps. It is truly amazing—I know I’m such a doting mom but she is such a little sponge and I LOVE watching her learn!
