I love it that Addi is already showing signs that she has a great imagination and has the ability to play and entertain herself. Just last night, we were outside and Craig was working on assembling her new swing set that we found on Craigslist—by the way, I am so THRILLED that we finally found one! I SO did not want to have to go out and buy a new one—those things are CRAZY expensive! The one we got has one of those curly slides, 3 swings, 2 platforms to climb onto, a rock wall, and monkey bars!! Anyway, the slide was just lying on the ground as that will probably be the last piece that Craig puts on. It rained all day here on Sunday so there was a little puddle of water standing on a portion of the slide. Addi found a narrow leaf and told me that was her paint brush and she used the puddle of water to dip her brush in and “paint” the slide. That really kept her busy! She told me later that she was “decorating” it—big word for a 2-year old. She never ceases to amaze me with her vocabulary either!
