Busy weekend - Prom and Recital

This weekend was packed with excitement and fun!  It started Friday night with Addi's first dance recital.  She also performed in the Saturday afternoon recital.  She did great--especially considering it was her first one!  They danced to Little Richard's "Tutti Fruity" and she had lots of family there to watch her including mommy, daddy, Austin, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle B, Aunt Lyndi, Katie Belle, Aunt Lisa, Dalton, GG, Nina, and Papaw.  She got flowers from her daddy and from Aunt Lisa afterwards (which she was extremely excited about)!

Saturday night was Austin's junior prom.  He looked so handsome!  He and his date, Allison (who is also a junior and is in show choir) along with several other couples, met at our house to take pictures outside.  After the intense photo shoot, they left to make their dinner reservations at Malone's.  He said their dinner was really good and that they were even given a huge complimentary dessert which they all shared.  He said the prom was very fun and they danced the whole time (so much that he was sweaty he said)!  I'm so glad they had a great time!
