November Summary!

November was truly a blur--I think I say that about every month though.  We hosted Thanksgiving at our house for the first time this year and it went really well!  It was a great success and we had a wonderful time.  Unfortunately, Memaw was sick and wasn't able to come but Aunt Sandy and Papaw were there along with Mamaw Pogue.  Ruth and Roy, Dee, Nick, Andrea, and Annsley also came along with mom and dad, Brad, and the Mastin crew.  Austin was also home for Thanksgiving of course.  I think he enjoyed getting a few extra days with his sister and they spent time together helping to decorate the house for Christmas and also enjoyed building a gingerbread house together which turned out so cute!

At the very end of November, we also did our candy-baking at Nina's house which is always lots of fun.  Addison enjoys getting to hold her baby cousin Annsley as often as she can as well as baby Kyle who seems to love Addi as much as she loves him.

Addi continues to love her Barbies and her very favorite Barbie is still Miranda Lyrics--the red head who is the only Barbie who has an unchanging name!

We did have a "dusting" of snow in November and the kids enjoyed getting out and playing in it!

There are lots of other random pictures in here from November also!

Halloween 2014

Addison decided months ago that she wanted to be a bumble bee so I went to work finding an adorable costume and of course Amazon didn't disappoint.  I found the very cute bee costume along with the matching black/yellow tights and ordered it right away.

Pumpkin carving happened a little late this year.  I think it was October 30th before the pumpkin became a jack o' lantern!

Addi got to go to trunk or treating at Riley and Jacob's church which is always a great time with LOADS of candy.  Addi also had her Halloween party and parade at her school and then of course we went trick or treating around Southbrook.  It's amazing from year to year seeing how much more "professional" the kids become at collecting candy.  This year was pretty chilly but Katie and Addi did not want to stop until they had all the candy they could possibly get!  Connor was a little less enthusiastic than the girls but I just think he was eager to get back so that he could start eating his stash!
