Strawberry Pickin'

The best strawberries come from Boyd's Orchard and they always taste better when you pick them yourself!  Boyd's is always a special treat because of all of the other fun things to do there too!  We definitely made a day out of it!

Last Day of 3-year old Pre-school

Addison has LOVED her first year as a pre-schooler and it has been great for her.  She has also loved the little friends that she has made as well as her sweet teachers, Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Anne.  This is the face she made the morning of her last day of school:

They were having a special last day of school program that day so I took her to school and then went to the auditorium to get seats for the program.  The pictures aren't great but the thing I loved the most was this:

They did a slide show of all the kids and some of their favorite things that their teachers asked them about.  Addisons were:  favorite food - apple, favorite book - the Bible, favorite color - pink (no brainer), favorite activity - staying home with mommy (melt my heart), favorite toy - Dora, and favorite animal - giraffe.  It makes me so happy that her favority activity is staying home with mommy because that is my favorite activity too!

Their performance was about farm animals and Addison was a frog and Connor was a chicken!

They all walked across the stage and were given their little "diplomas."  After the program, there were cookies and lemonade and it was sweet seeing them all play and say goodbye!  Our experience with this pre-school has been wonderful and we look forward to 4 year old pre-school there too!

Wedding...

Craig was a groomsmen in his friend Kevin's wedding.  He and Kevin have been friends since they were kids and even though they don't see each other regularly, it seems to be one of those friendships that always picks up where it left off.  He was honored to be in his wedding and Addison was in awe seeing her Daddy dressed up in a tux.  It was pretty sweet when we walked into the church and she saw him all dressed up for the first time.  Needless to say, she was Daddy's girl that night at the wedding and reception and he totally ate it up!

Addison's 4th Birthday!

Addison's big gift from Mommy and Daddy came a day early!  She got a trampoline and was so excited!  My sweet hubby had gone out on Thanksgiving Day and stood in the craziness at Walmart to get Addison a 15 foot trampoline with enclosure.  We had kept it in the box hidden in our basement garage and the day before her birthday he got it all assembled!  We knew that we would have to go on and give it to her since Austin's prom was that day and he and lots of his friends would be in the back yard taking pictures!  We walked her to the back yard with our hands covering her eyes before we let her see it!  She started squealing and running towards it!  It's so fun to see that joy!  Katie and Connor were there too so they had a great time jumping! 

The next day was the birthday party so after church, we got the house all decorated and ready.  Her daddy had given her some flowers so they made a great centerpiece for the table.  She of course wanted a princess party so we had found some perfect party stuff on Amazon.  Addi really enjoyed packing the tiarra pinata with lots of candy!  The kids had fun playing "pin the lips on the frog" and also loved destroying the pinata and hoarding lots of candy.

I didn't get nearly as many pictures of the party and people who were at the party as I would have liked since I was so busy running around but it was a great time and she loved every second of it.

She got lots of cool gifts which is obvious from the above picture with her new things surrounding her!  Happy 4th little princess!  We love you!
