The waves were HUGE the first few days and the girls had a blast riding the waves on their boogie boards. The kids spent a lot of time in the hot tub too. I think they spent more time in the hot tub than the pool--actually I know that's a fact!
It was nice to try out different restaurants, play on a different putt putt course, and we found a cool place where the kids got to ride some rides called the Track. We ate at Fudpucker's, Callahan's, Miller's Ale House, McGuire's Irish Pub (where there were over a million one dollar bills taped to the walls and ceiling), and the Back Porch. We also got donuts from the Donut Hole one morning. Another very cool thing that we did one night was go down to a pier and watch the fisherman bring in their catch for the day and weigh the fish in. The kids loved seeing the huge fish. Down on the pier there was a zipline as well as these huge bubbles that kids could get inside of and play in. Grandma and Grandpa decided to treat the grandkids to the bubbles and they had a blast!
I take way too many pictures and this post has tons but we had such a great time and I do my best to capture as many moments on camera as I can. We loved Destin and looked forward to going back!
