VBS 2014

I was a teacher at VBS again this year and it was a great success.  The kids enjoyed the new songs that they learned, having a penny war to raise money for less fortunate kids, making crafts each night, and of course snack.  On the last night, the kids were so excited because after the program, there were INFLATABLES outside and to make that even better, some of the INFLATABLES had water inside them!  The pictures speak for themselves--the kids LOVED it!

Summer Randoms...

Just a few random pictures including a photo taken on Father's Day and pictures of Addison and Katie experiencing their first jump off of a diving board!!  The girls were so proud of themselves (Mr. Cautious Connor decided that it wasn't a good idea) after taking the plunge off of Lone Oak's diving board which is the pool where Lyndi and I spent many summer days at during our child hood.  It was pretty cool that our girls could have a big girl moment there!  There are also some pictures from a summer gathering at the Cissel's house which is where we hang out a lot too!

Louisville Zoo

We took the annual trip to the Louisville Zoo and had a great time.  The kids did great and the weather was absolutely perfect for a day there.  We had an extra kid this year as it was Kyle Randel's first trip to the zoo!  He is an amazingly good baby and it seemed like he loved it!

The kids LOVE the merry go round for some reason so we bought the "big kids" a bracelet for unlimited rides and they rode about 27 times!
