Just wanted to do a quick update on Addi. She hasn’t worn a pull up or anything to bed in probably two months and there was only one night where she wet the bed. We just make sure that she doesn’t drink anything other than milk before bedtime and then we ALWAYS have her use the potty right before we lay down. It’s been a breeze! We are so proud of her.
She has been doing a lot of funny things lately. She tries to talk without opening her mouth and she will close her eyes and try to walk around (like a blind person). She is becoming very aware of her senses—her sense of smell is supersonic!
We have been working on letter recognition and she is very good at being able to name about 10-12 of the alphabet letters. Before summer arrives, I think she will have them all!
She will start Little Elk’s playschool program for 3 year olds in the fall. It will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9-12. I’m still in shock that the time will be here soon but I know it will be great for her and she will enjoy it.
She is still working a lot of puzzles and has a couple 48-piece puzzles that we do. She doesn’t do them entirely on her own but she is very good at them nonetheless!
She is still a very finicky eater but has been drinking SO MUCH MILK lately. I have never given her chocolate milk for fear that she won’t ever drink white again but I’m so glad that she is a good milk-drinker.
She is still very much mommy’s girl and asks me to “hold you” quite a bit. I love that but she is getting so big that it is becoming more of a challenger for me to hold her for any length of time!
She loves picking out her clothes and would like to wear a dress about every day! She definitely likes to be involved in the decision process of choosing her daily attire—it’s quite an event in itself!
