Well, the doctor appointment confirmed my suspicions—my baby is super tall and continues to carry the build of her daddy and brother!
She did really well at her appointment and interacted pretty well with her doctor—hopefully her stranger anxiety issues are in the past now!
Her height measured 36.5 inches which put her in the 95th percentile! She is over THREE FEET TALL!! NO way!!
Her weight was 27.6 lbs which was the 55th percentile—average and her head circumference was 18.75 which was about the 50th percentile.
She had to have a Hepatitus A shot but that was the only shot that she needed—THANK GOODNESS!! She does NOT do well with shots! Thank goodness that I have become tougher—I used to cry my eyes out when she got shots as a baby!
I have been so weepy about her growing up lately… I look back at pictures even from six months ago and am amazed at the changes in her. I tell her a lot that I don’t want her to get big and she says, “but momma, I want to get big like Katie.” J
Lyndi did give her her first haircut Friday night (with the help of Aunt Angela)! Her legs are getting long but her hair just is not! She was starting to develop a bit of a mullet so Lyndi trimmed up the back a little bit! LOVE THOSE CURLS!!
Well, I don't know about you but it would thrill me to pieces if my girls got some height but it's just not in the cards ;). Lyndi gave Kennedy her first hair cut (seems like yesterday!). Sigh...they do grow up so very fast.
